How a job runs
Four steps. No surprises.
01Consult & measure
Walk-through at your house. We measure square footage, count windows, photograph problem spots, and ask what surfaces have failed before.
02Written estimate & color plan
Line-item estimate within 48 hours. Product brand, sheen, and number of coats stated up front. Color sample boards painted on request.
03Prep & paint
Pressure-wash, scrape, caulk, prime, then two finish coats. Drop cloths daily. End-of-day site photos texted to you whether you're home or not.
04Final walk-through
We walk every room with you, list any touch-ups on a written punch list, and don't leave until it's signed. Touch-up kit and color codes handed off.

- How long does a typical interior repaint take?
- Most whole-home interior repaints run 5–9 days depending on square footage, how many colors, and the amount of trim and prep. We give you a day-by-day schedule before we start and the same crew sees it through start to finish.
- What paint and products do you use?
- We use premium coatings we'd put in our own homes — Benjamin Moore Aura, Sherwin-Williams Emerald, Emerald Urethane Trim for trim and doors, and Cabinet Coat for cabinet refinishing. No private-label discount product.
- How many coats of paint do you apply?
- Two coats minimum on every job, over properly prepped and primed surfaces. The prep — caulking gaps, sanding, patching, priming bare spots — is the part that decides whether a finish lasts 4 years or 12, so we don't skip it.
- Do you paint exteriors year-round in Sacramento?
- Yes. Sacramento's dry season is ideal for exterior work, and we schedule around temperature and moisture so coatings cure correctly. We pressure-wash, scrape, caulk, and prime before two finish coats.
- Are you insured?
- Yes — we carry full liability insurance and follow EPA Lead-Safe practices on homes built before 1978. You get a written, scoped estimate and a final walkthrough punch list signed off in person.
- What does a painting project cost?
- It depends on scope — square footage, surface condition, number of coats and colors, and prep required. As a rough Sacramento-market reference, interior work often runs about $2–$4 per square foot, but the only accurate number is a free on-site estimate.
